Tutor Perini Building Corp. Awarded $82 Million Construction Contract from the Gila River Indian Community

SYLMAR, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May. 10, 2012-- Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) a leading civil and building construction company, today announced that its subsidiary, Tutor Perini Building Corp., formerly known as Perini Building Company, was awarded a construction contract with the Gila River Indian Community to build Vee Quiva Casino & Hotel in Laveen, Arizona, which is near Phoenix.

The project includes a 178,000-square foot single-story structure with 70,000 square feet of gaming and five restaurants, in addition to a three-story, 90-room hotel and exterior pool area. Tutor Perini is also responsible for constructing a cast-in-place, four-story 1,000-car parking garage, as well as landscaping and site improvements for the 70-acre property. Vee Quiva Casino & Hotel is scheduled to open in 2013.
