Project Description

Based on both turn-of-the-century and modern motifs of the renowned City of Lights, Paris Las Vegas features a broad selection of French-inspired features. The resort’s signature attraction is its 50-story replica of the Eiffel Tower. Standing 540 feet tall, the structure is based on Gustave Eiffel’s original design. Erecting the 5,000-ton steel tower presented a number of logistical challenges. Three of its four massive steel legs are built inside of the casino, while the fourth leg drapes over the casino’s exterior.

The 34-story hotel-casino offers 2,916 guest rooms including 295 suites, an 85,000-square-foot casino with 100 table games, race and sports book, and more than 2,200 gaming machines, eight French restaurants and five lounges, 140,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, and a 25,000-square-foot health spa. The hotel’s 31,500-square-foot shopping area is designed to resemble a Parisian street scene. The hotel incorporates Art Nouveau sculptures and French Impressionist paintings along with replicas of many other Parisian landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre. The landmark’s exterior ornamentation is composed of EIFS, plaster and fiberglass reinforced plastic. Inside, the facades are molded with carved French limestone plaster and glass reinforced gypsum cast components.
