Project Description

Total redevelopment of one of the most historic piers in Atlantic City. The new four-level complex creates luxury retail, restaurants and entertainment space that capitalize on the rich tradition of the city. The design of the "Bridge Level" offers elegant urban boutique-style shopping and is connected directly to Caesars casino by a skybridge. The "Promenade Level" features a raised boardwalk and seven restaurants with panoramic views of the ocean. In the evening, the Pier transforms into a festival of lights with over-scale and animated billboards applying the latest technology in fiber optics, LED, and video. The Pier at Caesars was built atop a pier that extends 900 feet into the Atlantic Ocean from the historic boardwalk. Every construction operation required equipment to be operated from the sand. A reprocessed concrete pad along both sides of the pier provided the dry land mass to support construction. Additionally, deliveries were planned to avoid interfering with tourist foot traffic along the boardwalk.
